Abbott launched HMO formula in Hong Kong

           Abbott recently launched HMO (Human Milk Oligosaccharides) formula in Hongkong, and Hongkong has become the first Asian Pacific market to launch the product. According to Abbott, HMO is the third major nutrient in breast milk. Abbott through 15 years of scientific research, 20 studies, the former only in the breast milk HMO one of the most common ingredient added to the Abbott HMO formula.

          Qiu Zhaoxiang, President of Abbott nutrition, North Asia, said that Abbott became the first company in the world to add HMO to formula milk in 2016. The Hongkong market is influential in the whole Asia Pacific region, so it is the first to launch HMO formula milk powder here. Abbott launched HMO formula in Hong Kong.
