According to a press release issued by the Tata Steel Corp, a mobile filling line allows farmers to process and store land production, such as vegetables or fruits, which can not deteriorate after picking, which not only greatly reduces the waste of food at the source, but also brings farmers to the people. More extra income.

The complete production line includes two factory trucks and several distribution vehicles, which transport the new canned fruits and vegetables from the farm to the delivery department. One of the trucks is planned to be equipped with a DRD tank production line, which is pre - cut into a circular Tata Steel Corp made of Protact coated iron, which saves space and reduces the production of scrap.
The tank production line consists of a lubricating device, a cup washing machine, a two stage redrawing system and a trimming machine. The unique performance of Protact means that there is no need for painting operations, thus simplifying the process of making cans.
After the empty tank is made, it will be transferred to another filling truck. There, the newly harvested vegetables and fruits will be sorted, cleaned, pre prepared, canned, sealed, sterilized, inspected and labelled. Then the real cans are ready to be shipped to consumers.
The source of food waste will be greatly reduced.
According to the United Nations Environment Programme, 1/3 of the world's food is discarded or wasted in the process of postharvest processing, storage, processing, packaging and distribution before the arrival of consumers.
Tata Steel Corp said that in India, 44% of the food was discarded before being picked up and sent to consumers, usually just because it could not be quickly packaged and stored. As a result, Tata mobile filling line is expected to save 84 million tons of food annually in India.
Tata Steel Corp's mobile tank and filling line is scheduled to be put into use in the next three years. At present, it is discussing with many interested parties around the world in order to turn this concept into commercial reality.
